Meet Grace Kemp

Grace is an outstanding young rugby player. In addition to playing for Royals, Grace is a member and in 2021 was selected in the Wallaroos (National 15s) squad for the 2022 Women’s Rugby World Cup to be played in New Zealand. Grace is currently studying full-time at the University of Canberra for her Bachelor of Education (Primary School). Her commitment to rugby as well as her full-time study allow Grace little time to work part-time to support herself while studying. Currently there is no financial support offered to women players at state or national level. Grace is currently living in shared accommodation at her own expense, receiving only the normal Government support for a full-time student living away from home. “I could not possibly survive on this alone” says Grace, and “ I am most grateful for the support I receive from my family, Royals Rugby and Calleo Indigenous.”
