ABOUT US

Calleo Indigenous is part of the Calleo group of companies. View Calleo website.

Calleo Indigenous was established to deliver skilled resources to our clients whilst supporting Indigenous causes, including the enhancement of employment and career development opportunities. We are 50% owned by the Calleo group and 50% owned by Melinda ‘Mel’ Brown.

Calleo Indigenous acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Custodians and recognises their continuing connection to land, sea, culture and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

As part of the Calleo group, we’re proud to share that our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been approved by Reconciliation Australia. View our Reflect RAP here.

As part of our commitment, we have developed our unique Aboriginal artwork and we have commissioned Indigenous art from all over Australia which will be incorporated into our branding and marketing moving forward.

Our primary focus continues to be on extending our growing number of partnerships to provide better outcomes for Indigenous people, with a focus on providing multi-year program funding. To better achieve this goal we have appointed a Development Advisor, Major General Mike Smith AO (Ret’d), and we have established an Indigenous Development Advisory Committee to consider submissions from prospective recipients and make recommendations to the Board.

Calleo Indigenous is committed to enhancing the employment and career development opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
